Introducing Kristin or “Kiki”– the soul behind Crafty Chassis in Colorado; a one-of-a-kind arts and crafts truck that’s making waves in the Denver metro area and the Rocky Mountain areas’ creative communities!
Hailing from Castle Rock, but now calling Evergreen CO home, Kristin’s upbringing was filled with creativity through painting and music – experiences that paved the way for a career intertwining art with storytelling.
Throughout her college years she found she could not express herself adequately in the digital art world. But, she found a love for telling stories and embarked on a career in television production that lasted two decades after completing an internship program.
Kiki was eventually drawn back to Denver’s art scene where she felt inspired to bring her touch to its lively artistic environment.
The concept of Crafty Chassis took shape during her time working on the HGTV series ”Tiny House, Big Living” program, fueled by ideas surrounding mobility and the freedom of expression through space.
In 2017 Kristin converted a 12 foot box truck into the Crafty Chassis and transformed it into a moving canvas that brings art and happiness to the community.
Her tale is about following her passions, finding beauty, and daring to dream on a scale that peace, love, and art can bloom in the world through arts and crafts experiences.
